Are you a vegetarian or vegan looking for the kind of excitement carnivores experience by visiting food fests and cooking contests? If so, Tucson’s First Annual VegFest is for you! This event will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Whistle Stop Depot in Tucson. Admission is just $10 per person, and will feature a variety of vegetarian and vegan cooking demonstrations and food samples, plus a host of other activities perfect for the entire family, including guest speakers, a variety of vendors and kid-friendly entertainment.

Some of the noted speakers that will be sharing at the First Annual VegFest are bodybuilder Robert Cheeke, filmmaker Mark Devries, non-profit founder Katie Cantrell, and activist and writer Emily Barwick.
