It’s time once again for the Arizona Renaissance Festival, a chance to travel back in time, and to enjoy the food, music, craftsmanship and fun of so-called “yesteryear,” or more specifically the 14th through 17th Centuries. The fair began in February and will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Saturday, through March 27, 2016. Visitors will be entertained by jugglers, jousting, dancers and more. There will also be a petting farm and birds of prey. And this year, the festival is also introducing a new show featuring Sea Fairies- The Living Mermaids!
Highlights to Enjoy at This Year’s Fair
Food will include traditional fare from England, Greece and Mexico, including turkey legs and beer, but also crowd favorites like pizza, crepes, seafood and much more. You can also shop to your heart’s content, for everything from fine-crafted silver jewelry, to velvet and leather handmade items.
