Looking for some high-flying fun, this spring? Want a weekend activity the whole family can enjoy? It’s hard to imagine that an educational experience could also be exciting for kids of all ages, but there is one-such opportunity right around the corner. Get ready to head out to the Thunder and Lightning Over Arizona Air Show and Open House, which will be held at the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Saturday and Sunday, March 12 and 13, 2016.
What You’ll Experience at the Air Show
This show will be a celebration of aviation history, but also a wonderful and entertaining opportunity for kids and adults, alike, to learn more about both airplanes, in general, and the United States Air Force. The legendary Thunderbirds will be one of the groups performing various maneuvers, as part of flight formations and also in solo routines. You won’t want to miss their dazzling feats!
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with aerial demonstrations starting at 11 a.m. Perhaps best of all, this event is free to the public!
