Sure Valentine’s Day is a chance to celebrate with your significant other. But what about the day before that? Why not spend February 13, 2016 having a fun outing with the entire family, at Tucson’s Second Saturdays Downtown. This monthly event is free, open to the public, and provides good, family-friendly entertainment that gives nearby residents a great excuse to explore all that downtown Tucson has to offer! In fact, it is designed specifically to highlight some of the most talented musicians, artisans and chefs in the area. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to support local businesses while eating and shopping locally!
How to Join the Fun
Food trucks will be available from 2 to 4 p.m., followed by a series of free, live music on the 94.9 MIXfm stage. Most of the activities will take place on Congress Street, between Toole Avenue and Church Avenue. But there will also be numerous other activities located across the downtown area, many of which are free to attend, including a movie for kids, an art gallery reception, a jazz fest and much more.
Be sure to check out the full event schedule, including a detailed list of where to catch bands, art and more at http://www.2ndsaturdaysdowntown.com.
Attendants can park at the Pennington Street Garage, or Imperial Valet.
