It’s time to grab your flashlight, your family and put on your bravest face for Night at the Museum, hosted by the International Wildlife Museum. The event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2016. This is an only slightly-scary, and still kid-friendly event that is fun for all ages. It has also become one of the museum’s most popular traditions! There will be a scavenger hunt, as well as a chance to meet live animals during the event, but guests are also encouraged to come early to enjoy the museum with the lights still on.

The International Wildlife Museum was founded in 1988, with a mission of helping to increase understanding and appreciation for wildlife throughout the world, and to promote conservation. The museum currently has displays educating guests about over 400 species of mammals, birds and insects from all across the world.

The museum’s normal business hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $9 per adult, $7 for seniors 62-years-old and over, as well as those with a military ID, and $4 for children Between four-years-old and 12-years-old. Children three-years-old and under are free.
