Meet Dr. Dirk Newman

In 2003, Dr. Dirk Anthony Newman received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He moved to the Tucson region in 2014 and is now offering his professional services to our neighborhood! Dr. Newman is a Key Biscayne, Florida’s Pankey Institute graduate, and holds a doctorate in dental surgery. He is among 5% of dentists accepted as Fellows of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a current member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Newman has pursued advanced work in implant and full mouth reconstruction dentistry and continued focus on cosmetic dentistry. He works with the PIMA Study Club and the Spear Study Club to help others in his field by sharing his expertise. Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, an alumnus of The Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida, and continuing education focus in cosmetic and implant dentistry are just a few of his special certifications and areas of specialization.

I had my first visit with Dr. Newman and his staff this morning and I could not be happier. After not seeing a dentist since before the pandemic, I was terrified. Barbara was so kind and gentle and Dr. Newman answered all of my questions and made me feel so much more at ease. I was afraid and embarrassed for not taking better care of my teeth, but not once was shamed for it -which was my biggest fear. I am now looking forward to starting my journey toward a healthier smile. I would also like to add that I don’t have insurance and I felt everything was very reasonably priced.
